“Town Board
We want to draw the attention of the Town Board to the fact that in the area of Kukonmäki we have a serious shortage of water. There is only one well, very small, at the end of the Pietola Street on the bank of Pietola bay. We also point out that the population of our locality is increasing every year, but the number of wells is not. We suggest that another well would be built on the region, because as tax-payers we have the right to get water.

The first water plant in the cities in Finland was founded in Helsinki in 1872. This means quite a young development of the water supply. Today the water supply has become a social producer of the basic services in our every day life. In Finland the water system of water supply plants covers the total of about 4,7 million inhabitants.
The present water supply plants are technically well-developed units, which are responsible for providing, treating and distributing of water, as well as treating of sewerages.
UKITIG / UKITECH is involved as a manufacturer of pipings in water supply technology both for pure water and sewage treatment plants. We take part in new-building, renovation and maintenance work.
